9th Highest Trekking Peak in Nepal

Not perhaps the Everest by a little - but its Lobuche that stands close to the highest point in the planet. Attractive, and daunting mountain that rises over the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to a spectacular skyline, forms the south ridge providing common climbing route. One can reach the peak of Lobuche by descending a marked notch and climbing steep snowy slopes to the top. Said that Laurence Nielson and AngGyalzen Sherpa made the first ascent to Lobuche on 25 April 1984, but possibilities are that others may have reached the summit before as it is always especially remarked by the Everest Expedition groups.

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Kathmandu Valley

Full day guided sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley. Join us for the welcome dinner at evening. Hotel Overnight.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla.Flight from Kathmandu (1,310m) to Lukla (2,840m).

Trek to Phakding (2,610m), takes about 2-3 hours to reach Camp.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours

Day 5: Rest day at Namche for acclimatization.

Day 6: Trek Namche to Tengboche (3,860m) (5 hrs). Camp.

Day 7: Trek Tengboche to Pheriche (4,312m) (5-6 hrs). Camp.

Day 8: Trek Pheriche to Lobuche (4,920m) (4-5 hrs). Camp.

Day 9: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m) (4 hrs). Camp.

Day 10: Trek to Lobuche Base Camp(4940 m/16,207 ft)

Day 11: Trek to Lobuche High Camp(5,400m/17,712ft)

Day 12: Summit the Lobuche Peak (6,119m / 20,075 ft). Return back to Base Camp.

Day 13: Trek back to Lobuche (4,920m) (5-6 hrs). Camp.

Day 14: Trek to Pheriche (4,410m) (5 hrs). Camp.

Day 15: Trek Pheriche to Tengboche (3,860m) (4 hrs). Camp

Day 16: Trek Tengboche to Namche (3,440m) (3 hrs). Camp.

Day 17: Trek Namche to Lukla (2,840m) (5-6 hrs). Camp.

Day 18: Flight: Lukla (2,840m) - Kathmandu (1,310m). Hotel Overnight.

Day 19: Free day to explore, and enjoy Kathmandu.Hotel Overnight.

Day 20: Final Departure.

Includes:

- Airport pickups and drops in a private vehicle

- 3-star hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast

- All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trek and climb
